Mag-Lite ST3D036 3-D Cell LED Flashlight, Red (Tools & Home Improvement) This is my second purchase of one of these flashlights. I was so impressed with the first one’s brightness combined with Mag’s durability, I had to have another. They are quite useful for us living in the mountains where doing anything outside at night requires a good dependable light source. These more than meet the need. I am sure I’ll be purchasing more to replace the ones in our cars.

TerraLUX TLF-3C2AAEX LightStar220 3-Watt LED Aluminum Flashlight (Tools & Home Improvement) I like the high/low beam selections. The high beam is the default so the flashlight is at it’s brightest when first turned on. I would prefer to have the low setting first, thus only 4 stars. That is my only issue with the product. Button at rear where it belongs, compact size, nice bright beam, and runs on AA batteries.

CREE X-Tactical ATE0C2L007 Ultra-Bright CREE LED Tactical Aluminum Flashlight – Black, 235 Lumen s, with 4 Different Functions, 3 Bonus Detachable Color Lenses, 2 x CR123A Lithium Batteries Overall I am pretty happy with this flashlight. I have a streamlight scorpion and this light is quite a bit brighter. However, this light is a lot bigger and will not fit the case I have on my duty belt. My streamlight scorpion is 90 lumens and this light does not seem like 145 lumens brighter. For the price though it seems like a good light and I would recommend it.

Streamlight 65018 Stylus 6-1/4-Inch Penlight with Pocket Clip and White LED , Black (Tools & Home Improvement) Doesn’t turn on when you need to turn the thing on. You have to fight it at times, twist the top just right, etc. Half the time after pushing the top for some light , it doesn’t light . Once it does light , it works fine.

Mag-Lite ST3D016 3-D Cell LED Flashlight , Black (Tools & Home Improvement) I am not a engineer or a frustrated reviewer that can’t find anyone to hire me to review products for some consumer publication I’m just a old boy that likes this product. Frankly I don’t care how many lumens it has or if it’s Cree XP-E or not. Can I find the junk in the back of my truck with it? and will it still work after I drop it on the ground 50 or 60 times a month? The answer to both is yes. The only problem I have with it is that it rolls when I try to lay it on a flat surface while I root through my tools. I want to hear reviews like I stuck it into a snow bank on the side of the road while I changed my tire and it came out fine. When you shine it into the eyes of a barking dog will it shut him up? How is it for coon hunting? If you crack someone over the head with it will the batteries fly out? Can my wife manage to break it? If she does break it then you can find out for yourself if the batteries fly out. Anyway so far it’s a great flashlight. As for some of the other reviews, I think some these people need to get out more.

Streamlight 73001 Nano Light Miniature Keychain LED Flashlight , Black (Tools & Home Improvement) I bought a Streamlight Nano Light last week on the hunch it would help find light leaks in some old 6×6 folding cameras. When it arrived, I tested the idea by opening up the back of a Zeiss 6×6 Super Ikonta camera, turning on the Nano Light , placing it, in turn, in each of the camera’s film spool compartments, closing the door, turning off the light s in a pitch dark room and looking for where the light escaped from the closed camera. This worked perfectly, revealing in only a few seconds leaking joints, seams and unexpected open points on the Ikonta, as well as a Zeiss Nettar.A simple, fast way to find and begin to fix light leaks in about any camera. The Nano Light is only 1.5 inches long, so it will fit in 35mm film spool compartments as well.

Dorcy 41-4275 65 Lumen LED Aluminum Flashlight with Batteries (Tools & Home Improvement) I agree with Mr. Hon. The flashlight is annoyingly inconsistent in operation as he described. Changing the batteries isn’t the answer. Sometimes simply knocking it against something hard gets it working again – a nuisance.

I could not find it. What red, green kit? Were there supposed to be color filters? None were included. $85 item with no batteries? I had to order a battery and charge kit for $25 after I received this light. I haven’t turned it on yet and I’m already disappointed.
